The M.U.D. was an amazing device and one with incredable potential. Intended for the developing world it was a subscription paid solar power station for the home.
Priced to cost 1/3 of the Kerosine it replaced the M.U.D. was waterproof, robust enough it could be run over with a Land Rover (as we found out) and could power/charge multiple devices simultaiously.
Capable of powering LED lights in multiples rooms while charging mobile devices it was only the start point of a power/service ecosystem almost limitless in scope and scale.
