This is the personal portfolio site of David Fowler, a designer, engineer and business strategist based in London, UK.
After being lucky enough to graduate from some of the world’s finest schools and having had the chance to work all over the globe building and contributing towards new, innovative businesses this site is a chance to take stock of the past and to record the activities of the present.
My intention is to give those I know the chance to see some of the projects we have doubtless discussed and those I don’t some small insight as to what is possible with dedication, application and a lot of perspiration.
Exploration and Application
The core of my approach to design is applied, creative problem solving, the creative response to all information surrounding a challenge in order to achieve a positive outcome.
This is not restricted to design but to all aspects of innovation. Be it sustainability, Automotive EVs, Acoustics or Luxury Goods; the design, engineering and manufacture of the products or the creation of the business plans, intellectual property and supply chains required.
These development drivers are inextricable requiring a truly holistic approach to balance these complex drivers.

This is very much a work in progress, there is a great deal more in the back catalogue. Over time more projects will be added and more detail around each offered providing some insights as to the drivers, challenges and outcomes. As always, the journey has equal relevance to the destination.
